Overview of the importance of trade globally and its organization - ANNE KRUEGER

This lecture will start with a brief discussion of the role of trade in the industrial revolution and until the millennium. There will then be a short overview of the relative size and linkages of trade between countries. Finally there will be an examination of the relationship between the growth of trade and economic growth over time.
