What we can do about earth-wide dangerous challenges - ERNST ULRICH VON WEIZSÄCKER

During the “Empty World” it was perfectly “natural” that species and individuals were constantly competing with each other with a view of conquering additional land and resources. Also the evolution according to Charles Darwin describe that continuous “Struggle for life” at the expense of rivals and preys, In the full World, such competitive behaviour can be highly destructive. In the Full world, we have to learn and cultivate the virtue of cooperation. Inventions today should rather concentrate on resource efficiency and not on wasting and stealing land and resources.
